Electric Chair/NUMAN 5.1 Surround Library
NUMAN has been interested in the surround system since its early days. We have improved our sound technique through two projects, NUMAN Surround Library and Electric Chair.Electric Chair is a mandolin band with 10 members. They play their own original compositions (See Electric Chair paragraph) and are a very advanced, experimental music group. At their concerts they even place some of the members at the back of the audience to play in a style we refer to as “surround score.” These “surround scores” are composed with stereophony in mind and we help Electric Chair to record them in 5.1 DVD-Audio format at our studio.There is little music library available for 5.1 format for movies and High-definition TV programs. Therefore, in 2005 we decided to produce music library in real 5.1 surround format.
